MOSCOW, January 29, 2004. The Russian Finance Ministry on Thursday, in accordance with the schedule, made another payment in clearing off Russia's debt to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
A spokesman for the Finance Ministry told RIA Novosti that the payment amounted to 87,502,000 dollars.
That was the fourth and the last payment in this category of the debt in the January series.
In February, Russian will have to make three payments in clearing off its debt to the IMF.
Altogether, Russia will pay 1.7 billion dollars to the Fund this year.
