MOSCOW, January 28 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov and Vice Premier, Agriculture Minister Alexei Gordeyev to take measures to avoid uncontrolled growth of prices for bread, presidential press secretary Alexei Gromov said.
In his words, the head of state gave this instruction after a meeting with veterans of labor and a number of governors on Tuesday in the course of preparation for and holding of the session of the State Council presidium.
"Vladimir Putin instructed Mikhail Kasyanov and Alexei Gordeyev to report to him in near future on measures taken in this respect," the press secretary said.
