WASHINGTON, January 28, 2004. (RIA Novosti correspondents Kirill Glebov and Vasily Voropayev) -- American investors are interested in the Russian television and radio market, president of the Russian National Television and Radio Broadcasting Association Eduard Sagalayev said in Washington on Tuesday.

According to him, "investment sentiments" do exist in the United States with regard to the Russian television and radio broadcasting market, though "there are also certain apprehensions." "The interest in the Russian media market is very great, because it is rapidly growing," pointed out Sagalayev.

Apart from that, according to him, the Russian and American media markets "have many common problems, in particular, this concerns anti-trust regulation." Eduard Sagalayev is now in Washington with the delegation of representatives of the leadership of the Russian television and radio broadcasting companies, who have come to the US capital within the framework of the measures of the Russian-American dialogue on entrepreneurship in the sphere of mass media.
