MOSCOW, JANUARY 28, 2004. On Wednesday, Russia and Switzerland will sign an agreement on cooperation in liquidating chemical weapons reserves in Russia, says the Swiss embassy in Moscow.

"Switzerland is going to allocate maximally 15 million Swiss francs (about 12 million dollars) for this cooperation," says the document.

The agreement, to be signed in Moscow, will regulate the framework terms of cooperation. The agreement will be based on the decision of the Swiss parliament to encourage the liquidation of chemical weapons on a worldwide scale, says the report.
