MOSCOW, January 27, 2004 (RIA Novosti) - Spanish Defense Minister Federico Trillo's official visit to Russia begins on Tuesday, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"During this visit Federico Trillo will meet with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov. They plan to discuss a number of questions concerning the prospect of the expanding bilateral relations in military co-operation and to exchange views on some urgent military and political problems," reported the press service.
According to the press service spokesman, the two ministers will also touch upon the fight against international terrorism.
The visit will last until January 30.
