MOSCOW, JANUARY 27, 2004 (RIA Novosti) -- Georgia should become a venue for Russia-US co-operation, where we could do all sorts of useful things for the Georgian people, said US Secretary of State Colin Powell at his meeting with Russian and American businessmen in Moscow.

He reminded those present that on January 25th Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov and him attended the inauguration of new Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili. It is in this spirit that our relations should develop, Powell believes.
