MOSCOW, January 26 (RIA Novosti correspondent Oleg Osipov) - Vladimir Putin has instructed the Russian government to analyze the situation around the architectural monuments' preservation.
At a conference with the cabinet, Vice Premier Vladimir Yakovlev reported on the session of the union of medium-sized and small towns. The session, Yakovlev said, discussed tourism development, in particular, the construction of new hotels, preservation and restoration of architectural monuments.
Putin instructed the government and the culture ministry to look into the situation about the architectural monuments' preservation.
