VELIKII NOVGOROD, January 24. (RIA Novosti correspondent). Ex-President of Russia Boris Eltsyn, finished his casual trip to the Novgorod region (North-West of Russia).
Boris Eltsyn left for Moscow on Saturday, January 24, officials of the Krechevitsy Novgorod airport, disclosed.
Mr Eltsyn spent four days in Novgorod region.
On January 20 he took part in celebrations of the 60-th anniversary of liberation of the town from Nazi occupants and paid homage to liberators. Mr. Eltsyn also visited the St. Sophia Cathedral, the oldest in Russia, and Novgorod Fine arts museum.
The ex-president had a four-day rest in the state residence on Valdai Lake.
