KIEV, JANUARY 23, RIA NOVOSTI - Russia is ready to confirm in parliament all documents for the establishment of a united economic environment, which will bring together Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin said to a news conference in Kiev.
He is happy to see the matter entirely cleaned of politics. That was a tremendous achievement, remarked the President.
As President Leonid Kuchma of Ukraine said, in his turn, he was glad at his country having no differences whatsoever with Russia concerning negotiations for the prospective united environment. A free trade zone to set up enjoys a priority status in the environment efforts, and that is good, he added.
As for prospects for a transnational gas-piping consortium, there are no differences on the issue for today, and it will achieve complete settlement quite soon, reassured President Kuchma.
