MOSCOW, January 22, 2004. /RIA Novosti/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and British Prime Minister Tony Blair discussed several international problems, including the situations around Iraq and in the Middle East, by telephone on Thursday, the Kremlin press service said. The conversation was held on the initiative of the British side.

In addition, Putin and Blair discussed the condition and prospects of bilateral relations, the press service reported.
