    MOSCOW, January 22 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's gold and hard currency reserves have increased by 200 million dollars over a week.

    According to the press release of the Central Bank's department for foreign and public relations, as of January 16, 2004, Russia's gold and hard currency reserves amounted to $79.1 billion, as against $78.9 billion of January 9, 2004.
