MOSCOW, January 21 (RIA Novosti correspondent Alla Isayeva) - The Russian government is satisfied with the way cooperation with Kyrgyzstan is developing. This was disclosed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov during his meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart Nikolai Tanayev in Moscow on Wednesday.
In the Russian Premier's estimation, the two countries have stepped up their interaction lately. Moscow is "quite content" with the way Russo-Kyrgyz cooperation is developing both in the political and economic spheres, Kasyanov stated.
The head of government stressed the importance of the Russian military base opened in the Kyrgyz town of Kant in the end of last year. According to him, this is a significant component of arrangements in the system of collective security.
