RUSSIA'S FINANCE MINISTRY WILL PAY NEARLY $12 MILLION TO IMF THURSDAY

MOSCOW, January 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's finance ministry will make its regular payment Thursday towards servicing Russia's debt to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

As the finance ministry informed RIA Novosti, this payment will amount to 11,872,000 dollars.

This is the third of the four payments on the debt to the IMF due to be made in January. The next payment under the schedule is to be made on January 29.

All in all, Russia is to pay about 1.7 billion dollars on this category of the debt this year.
