VELIKY NOVGOROD, January 20, 2004. /RIA Novosti/ -- Boris and Naina Yeltsins had clash of opinions on works of painters.

In the course of the visit to the Novgorod Museum of Fine Arts (Veliky Novgorod is the administrative center of the North-West Administrative district) the first Russian President turned his attention to the portrait of Princess Zinaida Yusupova by 19th century British painter Christine Robertson. His spouse was more interested in the painting "Bather" by famous Russian painter of Eastland origins Timofeus Neff.

General Director of the Novgorod Museum of Fine Arts, who gave the tour for the Yeltsins couple, noted that Princess Yusupov had been considered by her contemporaries as the most beautiful Russian woman.

Naina returned twice to the canvas she liked exclaiming "Marvelous! It's just marvelous!"
