MOSCOW, January 20 (RIA Novosti correspondent Oleg Osipov) - Since its opening, the children's web site of the Russian president has been visited by over 30,000 Internet users, the presidential press service reported Thursday.

According to the spokesman, yesterday over 20,000 people visited the site at 3-9 pm, and another 10,000 went to the web site this morning.

The presidential press service noted that most of the web site guests simply wanted to see what it looked like.

On Monday, January 19th, the presidential press service opened a generally accessible web site, Russian President Addressing Schoolchildren.

The web site, www.uznai-prezidenta.ru, offers information about the presidential authority, the fundamentals of democracy, the state structure and the history of power in Russia for children aged 8-14.

You can also get to this site via a banner at the official site of the Russian president: www.kremlin.ru.
