NOVO-OGAREVO, January 20 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has asserted that the Russian authorities will further upgrade economic policy instruments, including the budget system, the banking sector, and also encourage the development of the private sector, small and medium-sized business.
"We will continue to improve the court system and state administration," the Russian president said at his Thursday meeting with Chairman of the World Bank, James Wolfensohn.
According to the head of state, many of the above mentioned problems are being considered by an expert group headed by the bank's executives and officials of the presidential administration.
Putin thanked the World Bank for its regular information provision of this effort.
