    LATEST TERRORIST ACTS IN DAGESTAN AND MOSCOW SOLVED, SAYS PROSECUTOR GENERAL'S OFFICE

    MOSCOW, JANUARY 20 (RIA Novosti) - The case on explosion in Kaspiisk (the republic of Dagestan in the North Caucasus) will soon be sent to court, said Russian Deputy Prosecutor General Vladimir Kolesnikov.

    It took place on May 9, 2002, and 43 people died and more than 100 were wounded then.

    According to Kolesnikov, all the terrorist acts perpetrated recently in Dagestan and Moscow have been solved.

    Five perpetrators were detained and will be tried, the deputy prosecutor general said. He also pointed out that the explosion in Kaspiisk was ordered by field commander Rappani Khalilov who is hiding in Chechnya.

    Speaking about the terrorist attacks in Moscow - in the summer of 2003 in Tushino and last December near the National hotel - Kolesnikov reported that the perpetrators are known and investigation continues.
