The first international exhibition in the Middle East devoted to the post-war restoration of and investment in Iraq opens in Kuwait on Monday.
The Saudi information agency reported that 1,300 companies from 46 European, Asian, American and Arab countries are expected to take part in the exhibition.
According to the organizers of this event, the exposition will take up 34,000 square meters. Companies from the industrial, agricultural production, communications and services sectors that hope to meet Iraq's needs in the coming years will attend the exhibition.
The number of those willing to take part in the exhibition surpassed all expectations.
Saudi Arabian companies will present a big exposition at the exhibition. Saudi Arabia contributed $1 billion to Iraq's donor fund.
The exhibition closes on January 23.
