GROZNY, January 18 (RIA Novosti) - Residents of Chechnya's capital, Grozny, passed to the authorities of their own accord a makeshift explosive device containing 35 kg of different explosive substances, and an F-1 grenade, the Joint Group of Forces told RIA Novosti Sunday.
This is one of the most powerful explosive devices surrendered voluntarily, a JGF source said. The damaging effect in case of its use would be enormous, the source said.
