MOSCOW, January 16, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Russia is ready to grant credit to Belarus, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation stated.
The Russian government is ready to help Belarus resolve some or other problem, including through crediting, the Russian head of government told journalists during a break in talks with his Belarus counterpart Sergei Sidorsky.
"As before, the Russian government is set to assist Belarus in resolving some other problem, mainly financial ones," Kasyanov said.
The Premier reminded those present that Russia had given credit to Belarus before and was ready to do that again. He specified that Russia and Belarus were building up a union, and however hard the process was they were not going to abandon the plan.
