    RUSSIA NOT TO MAKE EXCEPTIONS FOR BELARUS IN INDIRECT TAX COLLECTION?

    MOSCOW, January 16, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Russia can reconsider its stance on indirect tax collection with regard to Belarus, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov stated during a break in talks with his Belarus counterpart Sergei Sidorsky.

    "I am speculating over out /Russian/ attitude to non-compliance with the principle of indirect tax collection with the country of consignment," Kasyanov said.

    The Premier reminded those present that Russia sticks to the principle of collecting indirect taxes with the state of origin with regard to all the CIS countries, except Belarus.
