"Moscow is convinced that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will become a stronghold of a safe, just and democratic world order that is now being formed," said Mr. Yakovenko. He said that the political philosophy of the SCO is being formed in adherence to the UN Charter, International Law, openness and constructive cooperation with all associations and states.
"I do not doubt that the SCO will cope in full with the tasks set to it and will become an efficient instrument of multilateral cooperation between our states in solving urgent problems of both regional and international scale," pointed out Alexander Yakovenko.
Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
