KRASNOYARSK, JANUARY 14 (RIA NOVOSTI) - The issue of the withdrawal of the Russian military bases from Georgia should be solved through the diplomatic channels only, Russian defense minister Sergei Ivanov told journalists.
"The finance ministry of the Russian Federation is planning to allocate funds for the withdrawal of the Russian bases from Georgia only after an interstate agreement is signed," the minister said.
According to him, there will be no withdrawal of military bases from Georgia similar to the way it was with Germany.
