GROZNY, January 12 (RIA Novosti correspondent) - In Grozny on Sunday there was an explosion at check point 4 as a federal forces motorcade was passing, the Chechen Interior Ministry told RIA Novosti. According to the Interior Ministry, participants in the illegal armed units perpetrated the terrorist attack.
"Members of the special forces returned to check point 4. When the motorcade was on Chervlennaya Street, an unknown device exploded," an Interior Ministry representative said. No one was injured in the explosion, the representative noted.
Currently, an investigation is being conducted the Interior Ministry representative added.
