ASTANA. Russian President Vladimir Putin will continue his two-day visit to the capital of Kazakhstan.
MOSCOW. Christmas celebrations will be held under the auspices of the Moscow Region Governor at the Cathedral of Christ the Redeemer. Metropolitan Juvenalius of Kolomna and Krutitsa and regional government officials are expected to attend.
RIGA. The 5-th annual Russian culture and education festival will open in the Latvian capital and run through the end of January. The festival is arranged by the Latvian Association for Support of Russian-Language Schools (known by its Russian acronym, LASHOR) and the Baltic Russian Institute, in collaboration with other public organizations formed by Latvia's Russian community.
