ASTANA, JANUARY 9, RIA NOVOSTI - President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan does not think whatever international contacts throughout Eurasia, let alone particular areas and blocs, are conceivable with Russia outside them, he said at a gala opening of Russia Year in Kazakhstan.

The President pointed out Russia's dedication to integration ideas, and its efforts to promote the united economic environment. The future belongs to the EURASEC, or Eurasian Economic Community. Russian contribution to integration in and outside it has graphically increased within recent years, he said.

The EURASEC brings together Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine have observer's status.
