    MOSCOW, JANUARY 9, RIA NOVOSTI - Russia will carry on all-round support of the Afghan provisional administration, President Vladimir Putin reassures in a greeting message to Hamid Karzai, its head, as the Loya Jirgah has come to a fruitful finish, with a new Constitution adopted.

    Russia is determined to offer further support to Afghanistan's provisional administration as it works for peace, stability, economic progress and higher living standards, the President says in the message, which Novosti has received from the Kremlin press service.

    Mr. Putin wishes every success to Hamid Karzai, his entire administration, and the Afghan nation in their efforts for new statehood. He is sure the new Constitution will promote Afghanistan's development into a peaceful and affluent independent state in harmony with its neighbours and the whole world.
