MOSCOW, January 6, 2003. /RIA Novosti/ -- The State Sanitary Epidemiological Service intends to toughen control over arrivals from China due to cases of SARS reported there, RIA Novosti learned from the committee's press service on Tuesday.

According to the World Health Organization, China continues registering cases of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).
