The spotlight at the talks will be on "the co-ordination of joint actions within the framework of the Asian Regional Forum and other dialogue structures of Asia with a view to consolidating efforts to strengthen strategic stability and step up struggle against new challenges and threats to humankind, above all international terrorism, in the era of globalisation," says the statement of the department.
The parties will also discuss "further development of the traditional neighbourly relations and exchange opinions on issues of strengthening security and co-operation in Asia pacific region and developing integration in North East Asia."
A co-operation plan of the two foreign ministries for 2004-2005 is also to be signed.
