GROZNY, January 2 (RIA Novosti) - Several arms caches containing grenades, ammo and weapons were discovered in Chechnya, the Interior Ministry of Chechnya, a North Caucasian republic that recently got its legitimate President Akhmad Kadyrov, reported.
According to the Interior Ministry, yesterday in the course of the operative-search measures in the Nozhai-Yurt district an arms cache was discovered on the outskirts of the Sogunty village. The cache contained 58 grenades, five 82 mm mortar mines and 3 shots for a grenade launcher.
Besides, the same day in the same district near the Tsentoroi village another arms cache containing 4 shots for a grenade launcher, a grenade, a Kalashnikov assault rifle and 7.62mm caliber rounds were discovered by policemen.
