Flames have erupted from Atlanta Interstate I-85, causing a partial collapse of the structure. Local officials are attempting to uncover the exact cause of the incident, but Atlanta police believe it to be caused by piles of electrical wiring that caught fire beneath the overpass.

The fire broke out around 6 p.m. It has stopped traffic both north and south of the blaze. Atlanta police have labeled it a two-alarm fire, which typically involves seven companies of firefighters.

    No injuries have been reported.
