    The president of the troubled southern Russian republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, told Newsweek in an interview about his attitude to the Russian prime minister.

    The president of the troubled southern Russian republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, told Newsweek in an interview about his attitude to the Russian prime minister: “My idol, is [Vladimir] Putin. I want him to be the president as long as he lives. I love him very much, as a man loves a man. He is a man of his word; he brought peace to Chechnya.”

    In the interview Kadyrov also talked about the importance of faith for Chechnya and his view of the problem of alcoholism in Russia.
