    US Defense Firm Engility to Provide Engineering Support for US Navy, Six Allies

    The Department of Defense said that the US Navy has awarded the Engility Corporation a $30 million high tech engineering contract on air/ship integration, survivability and electromagnetic environmental effects that will also involve six US allies.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US Navy has awarded the Engility Corporation a $30 million high tech engineering contract on air/ship integration, survivability and electromagnetic environmental effects that will also involve six US allies, the Department of Defense said in a press release.

    "Engility Corporation [of] Andover, Massachusetts is being awarded [a] $30,661,981… contract… for engineering and technical services in support of the Navy and the governments of Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Spain, and Denmark," the release said on Monday.

    Services to be provided under the contract include systems engineering management, air/ship integration, systems safety, mass properties, survivability, manufacturing and quality, electromagnetic environmental effects and interoperability, the Defense Department stated.

    The contract will be administered by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, the release added.
