The volume of exports of Russian arms could potentially increase from $17 billion to $20 billion annually, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier in October, Anatoly Punchuk, the deputy director of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) stated that Russia's portfolio of arms export orders currently totals about $52 billion.

"The worth of weapons we export is around $17 billion. Potentially, this figure could reach $20 billion," Medvedev told Russian television channels.
