Pentagon said that technical-services provider VSE Corp. has won a $21.9 million US Army contract for logistics-readiness support across the southwestern United States in states bordering Mexico or with large numbers of undocumented immigrants.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Technical-services provider VSE Corp. has won a $21.9 million US Army contract for logistics-readiness support across the southwestern United States in states bordering Mexico or with large numbers of undocumented immigrants, the Department of Defense said in a press release.

“VSE, Alexandria, Virginia, was awarded a $21. 9 million modification…contract for logistics readiness support services at various locations in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas for the 63rd Regional Support Command,” according to Tuesday’s release.

The contract is scheduled to last one year, the Defense Department added.
