A video, produced by RT, offers you a unique opportunity to watch a Sukhoi Su-33 multirole fighter take off from the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, the flagship of the Russian Navy. Shot using a panoramic camera, it provides 360-degree visibility for a truly immersive experience.

The spherical video shows a flight crew hauling a Su-33 to its launching site along the busy deck. The footage then displays another aircraft roaring past the camera onto the sky-jump ramp and taking off into the cloudy skies over the Mediterranean.

Admiral Kuznetsov is part of a naval group deployed to the Syrian shores earlier this month.

Russia's sole aircraft carrier, accompanied by the Pyotr Veliky battle cruiser, the Severomorsk and Admiral Kulakov anti-submarine destroyer and support vessels, was sent to the eastern Mediterranean to conduct military exercises and take part in the Moscow-led counterterrorism operation in Syria.
