MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Ryabkov and Mekdad exchanged views on Syria's chemical demilitarization and Damascus' cooperation with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), the ministry said in a statement.
"In the context of the Syrian chemical dossiers reviewed in the OPCW and the UN, the sides touched on issues of the Joint Investigative Mechanism's (JIM) work, including in light of the JIM's latest unveiled report. The sides also discussed coordination of efforts to counter the threat of chemical terrorism," the ministry said.
