GOA (Sputnik) — The Russia-India deal on the deliveries of S-400 Triumf air defense systems is a multibillion-dollar contract, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Sunday.
On Saturday, Russia and India signed a deal on the deliveries of S-400 Triumf air defense systems and other equipment to India.
"…We do not only sell modern weapons to India, but we are also engaged in joint projects. S-400 Triumf is a multibillion deal, billions of dollars. You know that we will be modernizing Brahmos missile system so that it could be a land, air and sea-based system. We have agreed that we will increase its range capability. We also will be jointly working on the T-50 fifth-generation fighter jet," Putin said at a press conference in India's Goa.
