Russia to Showcase Advanced Military Control Systems at October Expo

The communications and control systems developed for the Russia's Armed Forces will be showcased at a large-scale military expo near Moscow in October, the press service of the United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation said in a statement on Wednesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Military Communication-2016 exhibition is scheduled for October 17-21 in Kubinka, a western suburb of Moscow.

"The latest achievements of the defense industry in the field of communication and control systems will be presented at the exhibition Military Communication — 2016. The event will be held from October 17-21 on the territory of the new congress and exhibition center of the Patriot park in Kubinka, with the support of the Russian Defense Ministry, state corporation Rostec and the United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation," the statement reads.

The press service specified that the exhibition will have the open and closed areas, where the advanced communications for military and civic use will be presented to the administrative board of the Russian Defense Ministry and representatives of other relevant ministries and agencies.

The Military Communication-2016 expo aims to gather the public customers and companies which specialize in the creation of tools and communication systems at one platform. According to the organizers, it is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the latest achievements of domestic military-industrial complex in this particular area, to share the experiences and consequently to give new impetus to the development of information technologies aimed to protect the Russian national security.
