WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States does not have the legal framework or structures in place to deal with future digital challenges, CIA Director John Brennan told the US Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday.
"I do not believe our legal frameworks as well as our organizational structures and our capabilities are yet at the point of being able to deal with the challenges in the digital domain that we need to have in the future," Brennan stated. "So this is the one area I encourage the [Intelligence] Committee, the Congress, this administration and the next administration to continue to work on."
