The US Department of Defense intends to continue its assistance to the vetted Syrian opposition in its fight against the Daesh, Pentagon’s spokesperson Adrian Rankine-Galloway told Sputnik.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — On Tuesday, The Wall Street Journal reported citing US and Mideast officials that the CIA and its regional partners are preparing Plan B in Syria that includes delivery of various types of anti-aircraft weapons to Syrian rebels.

"We continue to support vetted Syrian opposition forces that are taking the fight to ISIL [Daesh] in a host of ways and we'll continue to monitor the situation on the ground and enable those local motivated, capable forces fighting ISIL," Rankine-Galloway commented on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, CIA spokesperson Ryan Trapani told Sputnik it would decline to comment on the reports of the so-called Plan B.

Plan A refers to the current cessation of hostilities between Syrian government forces and rebel groups, with the exception of terrorist networks operating in the country. The ceasefire took effect on February 27, and has been described as largely holding despite violations.

On February 23, the day after Russia and the United States negotiated the ceasefire, White House spokesperson Josh Earnest said the United States was "not ruling out a Plan B" in case the truce did not hold. Moscow questioned US commitment to the cessation of hostilities with its contingency plan.

If there was no Daesh and no rebels fighting in Syria, the US would invent them. The US will never give up fighting either against Assad or anywhere else on Earth, it will have to be decisively defeated everywhere, and then there will be a stub of the US monster at large somewhere inside the US. But by then there will also be antibodies to fight the monster, and maybe it can be contained.

Syria and Russia should continue to kill the foreign mercenaries and eventually force the US Saudi-Turk Wahhabinazis out of Syria.

West aim was tackling Assad. Now they are going to do that. Syria, Russia and Iran needs to be ready for more fighting. West do not like peaceful solution as Assad did election yesterday.
