Russia has delivered the first batch of the S-300 air defense systems to Iran, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The delivery of the first batch of Russian S-300 systems has been earlier announced by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

"Yes, these deliveries are carried out along a logistics route set up by Russian and Iranian specialists. After receiving the first batch Tehran withdraws its lawsuit against Russia in the International Arbitration Court," Rogozin said during the Arsenal radio program.

"The withdrawal has been agreed, in general, with the Iranian parliament," Rogozin added.
