    Russian state technology corporation Rostec will present new mobile fire control unit for man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS) at the Defexpo India 2016 exhibition, the corporation's press service said Monday.

    GOA (Sputnik) — The eighth Defexpo India exhibition is taking place in the Indian Quepem city in South Goa between March 28 and 31.

    "UIMC [Rostec] will present mobile fire control unit for gunner-antiaircrafter platoon commander at the Defexpo India 2016," the press service said.

    The mobile unit is of compact size, has full autonomy, is easy to transport and can be used on areas difficult to access. The equipment provides coordination with higher command posts and gunners, tracking of air targets with the use of information from external radars, target acquisition, as well as the reception and creation of reports on tasks implementation.
