The Russian Defense Ministry, commenting on the statement of a NATO representative regarding the ‘classified images’ of the so-called violation of the Syrian-Turkish border by a Russian jet, said that such allegations were expected from NATO as they are trying to withhold information from the public and media.

Earlier, a NATO spokesman said that all images of Russians jet violating the Syrian-Turkish border were secret.

“There's nothing else that we expected. It is no coincidence that the Turkish side after their high-profile attacks on Russia so strongly tries to draw NATO into this murky story. It is obvious that this information is secret not from us but from the public and the media, especially the western countries and the US, whom the Turkish partners have clearly used,” the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said.

The alleged incident involving a Russian Su-34 fighter bomber took place on Friday, according to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, which also said the plane was warned by Turkish air radar units.

“Once again I would like to remind our colleagues from NATO and the Pentagon: before demonstrating solidarity and making loud statements, it would be nice to first examine the issue in question,” he added.

“For example, we have published today, the heavy artillery firing of a foreign state by a NATO country, which is Turkey.”

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry denied the claim and said no such violation had actually happened. Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov dismissed Ankara's statement as "naked propaganda."

“We thoroughly studied in the past 24 hours all objective control data on flights over northern Syria. No violations of the Syrian-Turkish border by Russian warplanes have been registered. And that's a fact,” the ministry's spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov told reporters.

On November 24, a Turkish F-16 fighter shot down a Russian Su-24 bomber with two pilots on board over Syria. Ankara claimed it had downed the Russian warplane as it had allegedly violated Turkish airspace. Both the Russian General Staff and the Syrian Air Defense Command have confirmed that the Russian jet never crossed into Turkish airspace.

In response to Ankara's "stab in the back," as the incident has been described by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Moscow imposed a number of economic measures on Turkey.

Is this another of the G7 and EU nations 'Probably' stories. Why do NATO and the USA never use their intelligence to prove or disprove facts? Or are they still waiting for the Facebook and Twitter feeds to update them?

The usual pattern "you're guilty!" and when you ask why the answer is "because we said so, no proof needed"..

If you're going to make accusations, then you must provide evidence if you want your accusations to be believed. Not the Boy crying wolf, but Pinocchio is NATO.

Israel (or more accurately, the ZPC, zionist power configuration, ref: James Petras) is using Turkey against Russia in much the same manner they've been using the Ukraine.

Hope that is not propaganda by either side, but true and real happen by the Russia side. Mr. Putin should have conduct many more intentional incursion into Turk air space. If it was some other nations and got shot down, many more incursions should have been conducted ago. Think about South China Sea! No shot were fire, no lost in either part, but incursions continue to conducts. But what happen to Russia's fighter jet that got shot down? Why no border incursions ever since?

And of course nobody mention the obvious:

Why is occasional airspace "violations" between states supposedly at war with a common enemy an issue? It´s obvious that the Turkass pariah state and it´s primitive retard for a "president" will stand or fall with it´s (undeclared) war against Syria and the desperation as SAA, SAAF and RUaF is closing in on the borders is tangible. The question is how far NATO (US) is prepared to go and its just a matter of time before NATO (Turkish) jets will start falling out of the sky.

Mikhas, "Why is occasional airspace "violations" between states supposedly at war with a common enemy an issue?" Exactly! Terrorism should bring countries together unless...something shady is going on.. By the way how many times turkey violates the greek airspace.. double standard coming from a megalo.

Surely all "western" nations can see right through this transparent aggression by now! Their leaders must be so blackmailed or scared, they are hardly leaders anymore. Those alleged secret photos aren't secret anymore, they themselves just published the fact that they exist.

When is the world going to get sick and tired of the lies and suffering = sick enough to stand up and do something about it?

vot tak, Everybody think the IMF is in control of Russia. If it was, they would just collapse the economy and try to force Russia into compliance. But they don't control Russia, and the "ZPC" can't stand a renegade country defying their authority. GO RUSSIA!

As Nato does not recognize Russia's borders - why should Russia recognize Nato borders !

Besides has Russia shot down any Nato Planes ?

Classified! - only lies need to be classified!

Russia should expect more and more accusations like this and it is entirely Russia's fault.
Iraq and Iran were also accused of many things and the proofs were and still are top secret.
Russia went along with it since they were not directed at Russian or Mr Putin.
Good for you. Remember, what goes around will some day come around.

The Turkish statement about classified images makes no logical sense. Who would they be hiding the images from? Obviously no such images exist. Anybody with any intelligence can clearly see that. Who are they trying to fool anyway? Not anybody who has any common sense.
I think that it is just more war propaganda directed at the insouciant American population. Nothing else makes any sense.

The US might be able use this so-called violation to better sell the deployment AWACS in Syria to all NATO members????

Russia started to behave mostly like Israel politics: harry and deny.
See the reality! Russia certainly bombs especially Turkmen districts. About 4500 Turkmen refugees have launched to Turkey borders within 24 hours.

Doesn't this show you the reality!? If not, why these families had to migrate to Turkey?
