    Russia Holds Snap Aviation Drills With 40 Aircraft

    Russian warplanes delivered bomb strikes against ground targets during drills in the Krasnodar Territory.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia has kicked off snap drills involving 1,000 servicemen and 40 aircraft in the country’s Southern Military District, the district’s press service said Thursday.

    “During the snap exercises, pilots developed their tasks on combat readiness, held air reconnaissance missions on conditional enemy facilities and developed bomb strikes against ground targets at an aviation field in the Krasnodar region,” the Southern Military District said.
