Denmark to Support Anti-ISIL Struggle With Radar Equipment - Reports
Denmark is expected to contribute to the fight against the Islamic State militant group by sending radar equipment to the region, local media reported.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Danish radar equipment alongside with some 30 military personnel to work with it is expected to be sent to the Middle East to monitor the territories occupied by ISIL militants, Copenhagen Post reported on Tuesday.
10 November 2015, 21:01 GMT
The newspaper reported that the Danish radar could be a replacement for country's fighters that returned home in October from an air base in Kuwait, from where they have been launching airstrikes against ISIL targets in Iraq as part of antiterrorist US-led coalition.
The US-led coalition of more than 60 nations has been conducting airstrikes against the ISIL since September 2014.
