KLIMOVSK (Sputnik) – "The gun is in the experimental sample manufacturing stage. It will be ready soon," Dmitry Semizorov told RIA Novosti.

The TsNIITochMash head said a number of experts are "actively involved" in developing the 9x21mm caliber handgun.

"One of those experts proposed a very interesting solution, which is what we will offer to the customer," Semizorov pointed out.

TsNIITochMash, a major supplier of weapons and ammunition, as well as state-of-the-art Ratnik infantry combat gear, is part of Russia’s state technologies corporation Rostec.
