NOVO-OGARYOVO (Sputnik) — Armenia will receive a $200-million loan from Russia to modernize its armed forces, President Serzh Sargsyan said on Monday.

"An agreement on $200-million loan on favorable conditions has been signed. It will allow us to upgrade the arsenal of the Armenian armed forces," Sargsyan said during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
