    Iskander-M Live-Fire Missile Drills to Be Held in Southern Russia in July

    Russian military exercises, which will include Iskander-M missile live-fire drills, are set to be held in the country’s southern region of Astrakhan at the end of July, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Southern Military District announced Monday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Southern Military District said in a statement:

    “Within the framework of training of subunits…exercises with the Iskander-M missile defense system will be held with live-fire strikes against ground targets and infrastructural objects of a conditional enemy located at a distance of up to 300 kilometers away.”
