Russia Praises First Ever Joint Drills With Egyptian Navy

All the tasks planned for the first-ever joint Russian-Egyptian naval exercises have been completely fulfilled, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The first Russian-Egyptian naval drills, codenamed the Friendship Bridge 2015, started on June 6 and will end on Sunday.

"Mutual understanding and high professional training of Russian and Egyptian officers from exercise direction staff and on board staff allowed to fully and timely perform all the tasks planned for the Friendship Bridge 2015 drills," the statement read.
